Delayed Ejaculation (D.E.)

Delayed Ejaculation (D.E.) also known as retarded ejaculation, impaired ejaculation, impaired orgasm or anejaculation, although uncommon, is also a reported sexual dysfunction.

It can be defined as 'the persistent or recurrent difficulty, delay in or absence of obtaining orgasm following sufficient sexual stimulation, which causes personal distress.

Do any of the following apply to you?

  1. Do you believe you have D.E.?
  2. Do you struggle to ejaculate even after sufficient stimulation?
  3. Do you and/or your partner feel bothered, annoyed or frustrated by your D.E.?
  4. Is your D.E. affecting your relationships?
  5. Do you sometimes avoid sex because you are embarrassed?

If you answer YES to most or all of these questions ask your doctor to be referred to the Sexual Dysfunction Clinic.
