A vasectomy, or male sterilisation, is a simple surgical procedure which takes approximately 30 minutes.
Having a vasectomy does not affect your male hormones, ejaculations, orgasm or sperm production. Sexual feelings and ejaculations remain unchanged.
How do I book an appointment to discuss vasectomy?
If you are registered with a Hull GP you can:
- Referral only - Ask your GP to refer you
For patients registered with an East Riding GP:
Please contact your GP who will refer you on to the appropriate service.
Please be aware that failure to attend for your appointment without prior contacting the clinic, may result in you being discharged from our service. If you are discharged, should you require our service in the future a new referral will be required. If you are unavailable for the scheduled appointment, please contact the team and an alternative appointment can be made.
